Rosas Italian restaurant was established in 1962 in Visalia. Carmine Cristallo and his sisters came to America from bonito, Italy the region of Campagna. The sauces and pasta prepared at Rosas are indicative of the area where they grew up. "Ridiculously good food! Massive portion sizes and good prices as well. I got the lasanga and my fiance got a calzone. We easily have enough leftovers for another 2 meals given how huge the calzones are!! If you want wonderful Italian food, you have got to try this place."

"I ordered a small calzone and it was the same size as half a large pizza!!! It was a lil soggy because of the cheese overload and the pepperonis didn’t cook inside due to the same problem. The employees were really professional and made you feel welcomed. They gave us the ol’ goodfellas entrance through the kitchen due to remodeling but it just made it that much better."
